Holiday gift guide for her

Updated: Oct 24, 2020

I love to give gifts. Finding the PERFECT thing for each person on my list is a challenge I gladly welcome. Often, this transforms into a gift basket or gift set that I

put together myself. Putting a few small things or an assortment of items together is more fun to open and can be more personalized than just one gift. This also tends to be a show stopper since you can put a full theme or experience together!

Disclosure: I have placed some affiliate links below that I may receive commissions for purchases made through links in this post. Keep in mind, however, these are all my personal recommendations that I stand by. I would not bring them to you if I did not believe in each item.

1. Decide on your budget

The biggest mistake you can make during Christmas shopping is not deciding on a budget before getting started. This is a surefire way to OVER SPEND or get too much for one person. Decide on a budget whether big or small and stick to it by keeping track of everything you purchase. Nailing down this part will also help with the following steps.

2. Pick a theme

You can't really go wrong with this one. Just think about what your friend needs, wants and would really love. You could also personalize the box exactly for what your BFF would enjoy.

Popular theme ideas:

Get Cozy - Fuzzy socks, mug, hot cocoa, and pjs

Spa Day - Face mask, eye masks, hair wrap, and a candle

Fashionista - Flats, earrings, beret, and scarf

Boss babe - Blue light glasses, motivational book, inspirational pop-open cards

Beauty addict - Lipstick, nail polish, hair claw, nail set

Self-care - Muscle Relief Mineral Soak, Liquid IV, eye mask, lip gloss balm

Acessesorizer - Bracelet, ring, hair clips, headband

Color-coded - Pick our all gold, silver, or pink items, etc.

The possibilities are ENDLESS. You might even have a fashionista boss babe gift basket! If you need any more ideas, don't hesitate to live chat with me or leave a comment!

3. Pick your items

After deciding what direction you want to take your box, its time to pick out your items! Here is a HUGE list of anything and everything you might need!

4. Pack the box

Now its time to pull all your hard work together! You can get a box, basket or unique tin to put all your gifts in. Arrange your gifts in a pretty display with tissue paper inside the box or wrap your basket with tulle or cellophane paper. Here are some possible baskets!

5. Share the joy

It is super fun to shop and put your gifts together but the BEST part is giving the gift and watching your BFF open it. Take it in, make it important. Put your phone away, pay attention and embrace the feeling of giving.

Additional option

Alright, I know there are a few of you that just read through this and are saying "noooo way". Here are some gift sets already set to go from Amazon you can gift! (These are more pricey than putting one together yourself.)
